The ManaBots Project
We are building a new game in Decentraland called ManaBots. The characters in the game are these cool 3d robots. Each ManaBot is completely unique, there are 20 different models, and 20 different skins for each model for a total of 400 ManaBots. They are low poly, fully animated machines with programming botware that gives them their own unique personality and you you the ability to control and command them to do over 100 tasks. From simple commands such as walk, run, jump and roll to more basic tasks such as talking, joking, applauding and dancing to more complex tasks such as fighting or building.
Anyone can play the game for a small fee. ManBot owners need not pay2play. When others pay2play, the fee is distributed amongst ManaBot owners and the LAND owner where the game was played. ManaBot owners can also deploy the game on their own LAND to play as often as they want and to earn additional $MANA.
ManaBots are created on and backed by OpenSea’s shared ERC1155 minting contract and therefore upon purchase will be owned by you and stored in your wallet on the Ethereum blockchain. As the Metaverse evolves over time, you will be able to take your ManaBots with you into other realms that recognize the ERC1155 standard.
Q1 '21
The game is already in early stages of development. Once all ManaBots are sold out we will expedite the development and secure the larger, permanent location of the full game. Although right now they are just dancing here, you will soon be able play in Decentraland at this temporary location right here: https://play.decentraland.org/?position=-131,101.
Q2 ‘21
Once the game is fully completed and readily playable, we will deploy and announce the final location, as well as make mini games available to individual LAND owners who wish to deploy their own versions. At this point ManaBot holders will begin to earn $MANA as players enjoy the game.
2021 and Beyond
We will continue to improve and develop the Metaverse and hope to get ManaBots available in other realms such as CV, SS, TV, and SB. We will also continue to develop and upgrade the botware of the ManaBots to keep them up with the latest technological advancements.
